No More Snow In September
Chief Whitehouse Spokesman Tony Snow announced today that, as of September 14, 2007, he is stepping down. What is the reason?? A great scandal a la Senator Craig? Is he lamely following the rest of the Republican contingent? It must be the fact that the fellow has been battling cancer. No! Wrong, wrong, wrong! He is stepping down because he’s broke.

That’s right—with all that we now know about climate change and mercury and acid rain and well, just how unbelievably dirty coal can be—coal is being championed as the fuel of the future. Everything old is new again!
